Camcorder Disk Error

How can I finalize a dvd after it was removed from a DVD cam without completion and put in a DVDROM.?

It is a Hitachi DZ-GX5080A DVD camcorder. I recorded about 30 minutes of footage with it. I then removed the disk without exiting it and put it in my PC. it wouldnt play in PC. I put it in your camcorder and it would not play or finalize. it keeps saying format disc read disc error. Please tell me if there is a way to end the disc on this item with dvdcam. thanks
