What is a good HD camcorder?
I'm looking for an HD camcorder that shoots the best video quality in every sense. I do not have a lot of money, so price area would be between 200 and $ 550. It would be best if it had the following features: Hard Disk, manual and automatic focus Manual Iris white balance 3CCDs Head Phone Jack Sound audio inputs Filtering manual and automatic controls Great both in digital, but preferably Optical Zoom I am new in here, so I'd like to get a good camery because I plan to film my own scripts and music videos etc. .. I am a beginner, so ... If you have any other recommendations to make my movie experience, which is a better video quality and sound quality, tell me. Thank you!
There is no video camera that meets your specifications and price. There is no such thing as "large digital zoom" -- Digital zoom should be disabled on all cameras and camcorders. Any half decent consumer video cameras or more have white balance control. cheapest High Definition Camcorders with manual audio control, audio inputs and headphone jack, Canon HV30 and HV40. They have other controls, but challenging to use (many times through the menu - not without the video camera). They use a single CMOS imaging chip. Download the manual from canon.com product site and read through the manual focus. More prosumer and pro cameras have almost everything on your needs list - but do not use a hard drive (professionals know better, and are either staying with miniDV tapes, internal hard drive, skip, jump to the flash memory, or through an external Hard disk drives from Focus Enhancements - the Four Great series ... or if they use a Sony HVR-series, get an external drive, Sony camcorders). All these camcorders start at around eight times more than your stated budget ... The least expensive is the Canon XHA1 ... My main recommendation to you is do not get a hard drive based consumer camcorders. Flash memory (acceptable) or miniDV (preferred) tape - but not the HDD. believe you can change your requirements and increase your budget: Canon CR-Series and HF or HF-S series is most likely your best bets.
