How to get my video from my camera to my PC?
I have a Canon ZR600 and no firewire jack on my laptop. Is there some kind of adapter so I can get my video from the camcorder and on my computer? I have found out how to get pictures out of it, but no video. The manual says that I can not use USB but I figure there is probably a way to do it! Any comments and suggestions are highly appreciated!
The manual right! Your best bet is to buy a firewire card. Explicit map is still pretty expensive (~ $ 70) but the PCMCIA card is less than $ 20. I've only seen a firewire to USB converter - it was around $ 90 and none of the usual catch apps would work with it!
