Dvd Camcorder With Microphone Input
Panasonic DVD camcorder Model VDR-230. NO mic input .. is there a way to connect a microphone via an adapter?
I recently purchased a Panasonic Mini DVD camcorder Model VDR-230. It's been great for casual use, but I've only just realized that it does not have an Micrphone input. I will try to improve the quality of the audio recording with a microphone, which I need this for home recording of classical music performances, ie the audio quality is more important than the visuals. Is there any way I can use an adapter to connect an external microphone? It has only one AV input, and another to connect it to your computer via USB. Would anything else work? Does anyone have any ideas? I would like to keep it as simple as possible. Thank you for your help!
For a novice (I think) who want to keep it simple, you can not. The only way would be to open the case to find the built-in microphone, you must remove it and create an audio-in in there instead of the original mic. The problem would be to make it in a way that does not damage anything, and also you will always use an external microphone. My suggestion is to search for something to record good sound separately and then put them together on video. to synchronize, try snapping your fingers in front of the camera and close to the outer, separate mic, so synchronization of sound. If you find something that does not need to be connected to a camcorder, so let me know that I have exactly the same problem with my Sony camcorder. Hope this helps, Randall
