how you can connect a Panasonic camcorder to computer?

I got this Panasonic PV-L353 camcorder, and it wont connect to my computer. it came with AA / v Caple but that does not work. I have a lot of videos that I want to get on my computer, but I need help. Do I need a cable specal ?????
