Pd170 Camcorder
im using sony pd170 video camera for video recording. im havin problems with memory chip. What to do?
when I insert the memory chip it shows some errors on the screen .... suggests to me that the company's chip to use?
Sony DSR-PD170 DVCAM is a mini-tape-based camcorder that records high quality DV-format video to mini DVCAM tapes. Memory Stick can save still images at 640x480 resolution. I would not suggest using stills function into something far too important because it is not very good compared to many digital still cameras available. Since you do not tell us what the error message you get when you try to use the memory card it is a bit of a challenge to provide assistance. Most of the possible error messages - and suggested resolutions - can be found near the end of the video camera's manual for troubleshooting section. The handbook also has the specs acceptable memory sticks for PD170 in front of the manual.
