Rca Camcorder Audio Video Cables

I have a video upload issues ... please help?

My GF's daughter has some home movies she'd like to be copied to his computer from her small video camera that has an RCA jack for audio and video out and retrieve them in on her MySpace page for her video section. Can someone plz recommend a good software / hardware I can do it with? I understand that I'd get a better quality and permit good transfer with a FireWire cable connection than a USB connection. Any help whether this would be appreciated.

I didn't think was the firewall on the PC yet, but if I would go with Adobe Premiere, I think there is a known dazzele believing to work for the sort, but Adobe is a bit more professional, so there might not be what u want
