Really Cheap Camcorders
Which is better out of these two cameras?
I get one of these two, but I need to know which one is better. The Panasonic HDC-HS700K or HDC-HS700K. Now I wanted to get HS700K but I heard that the HDD can fail on me when I drive. I could get the HDC-TM700K but I really wish they had one with 64GB memory, but I only have 32GB. Anyways I'm getting an SD card with it and it will cost me some doe, but it's fine, I just need to know which one is better because I do not want the HDD to fail on me. Which one would you recommend? The TM700K or HS700K? And any cheap 64GB Class 6 SD cards can be included in your reply if you know any good / cheap to them.
Lens size is the same. Imaging chip size is the same. File types are the same. Pretty much the same, apart from the storage media. Hard disk drives are known problems with high altitude (not enough air pressure) and vibration (heads park so as not to shabby hard disk platters). Flash memory and miniDV tape based cameras do not suffer from these issues. HDD failure is possible - but they are fairly reliable - I just would not get one know they have these limitations. Plus, if you fill your hard disk, so what? With flash memory or miniDV tape, just with more blanks. SanDisk or Patriot SDHC cards. These are more expensive because they did not appear until chips are more expensive to make. Rather than a single 64 gig, 16 gig more. No sense to put ALL the video project on one memory card (If it is a long project). Personally I would consider the Canon HF S-series. They have a smaller single CMOS, but a way bigger lens (to let in more light) and mic jack and manual audio control. For that matter, I would probably take the Canon HV40 or Sony HDR-HC9 over the Panny because they do not HDV and AVCHD is not anemic. But my computers have firewire ports so there is no importing issues.

The conventional transmission speed for the cheap SD memory cards is six times faster than the typical CD-ROM with a speed expending at 66x (1.01 specification).
The higher speed SD memory card, but holds a 133x speed (1.1 specification) so that the transmission of complex audio / visual files to go and hide in just microseconds. The real data transfer speed allows for these files to record everything simultaneously and immediately.
