Sony Camcorders With iChat?
I used to use my sony dsc-TRV460 camera with iChat via Firewire. I've also used it with iMovie. Neither one of these programs will notice that I have the camera connected and it wont work anymore. Any idea what I can do to solve this problem?
Never heard any using a DV cam with iChat (I guess there is always a first), but iMovie - if it does not appear when you "choose source" restart your Mac and it must prove it should not be a problem with Firewire. The only reason a DV cam will not show up or can not be elected in iMovie is because you use a USB connection, which iMovie will not recognize. iMovie08 tutorial here http://www.apple.com/ilife/tutorials/ # iMovie
