Sony Camcorders Best Buys

I plan to buy a Sony digital camcorder. Which of the DVD / MiniDV / HDD would be the best bet?

I want a camera that would be easy to carry and easy to operate. The media must be inexpensive and transfer to a computer should not be a big problem. Can someone please help me with these (and extra if you can think of) parameters in mind.

Recently, I purchased a Sony Handycam Camcorder (DCR-DVD105) is a DVD model. I am really happy with it, especially its value for money (around 500 $).
