How do I set up remote recording with camcorders??

I try to mount a camcorder on my boat and what I want to do is to have it to where I can get remote access rotating camera and off, and record or off. Let me also like the viewfinder screen to an external LCD display mounted on my dash. Do you know a good camcorder that I can do this with, at what well i need to complete this installation, please tell me all cables or modulator's or something like that I'll have to do this and how you do it. Thank you all. Is it possible to connect two TV screens?

Can I record from my camcorder to my computer?

I have a Samsung SC-D263 digital camcorder and I want to record videos on my computer. I have a Firewire card installed and the cable goes into both the video camera and card, but the camera is not detected by Windows. When I connect the camcorder in via USB, Windows detect it, but have not drivers for it and do not know what it is. I think that there should be software included that I did not get. Suggestions anyone?

GREAT picture and GREAT REMOTE

I realize that this is probably a "guy thing" but this remote is the fastest reacting remove any flat I've seen. It also has a "Favorite" button where you can easily program it to just scan your favorite channels. I got this TV for my mom and was so glad that I ordered another for myself before they change anything. I'm really happy. I also purchased Western Digital TV Live unit for $ 119 on Amazon. This allows me to view my digital pictures on my 40 "Samsung TV via inexpensive $ 2.63 HDMI cable. Wow!

Has a lot of research on TV before I decided To get this here. Was not excited about 120Hz TV, not like the soap opera / camcorder movement. I was debating if I should have internet options in apps the other models, but I have a PS3, so it was not worth paying for the extra features. So I got this 60Hz LCD and I have no regrets! The picture this TV produces is amazing, especially on Blu Ray. I saw my New Zealand vacation videos on it and it really highlights the colors and make my video look even more movies. Avatar looks great on it as well. I got it for $ 640 and worth every penny.

Can I use a fisheye lens with 87mm thread size of a 37mm or 43mm thread size camcorder?

working for low budget, non profit camp. These are the camcorders I have: Panasonic GS250 (43mm thread size) Panasonic GS 320 (37mm thread size) Vixia HF10 (37 mm thread size) We can not allow a fisheye lens but I found a great one that is 87mm and I would like to know if there is an adapter I can get to use the lens. I found a site which has a 43mm to 82mm, but it is the highest it goes. I could get a second adapter that is 82-87? Writing on the lens: "RAYNOX MX-3000 PRO SEMI-fisheye wide angle conversion lens 0.3X "on the second page reads:" MADE IN JAPAN 87 "(which is a circle with a slash through it before the 87th I think it is the lens size. It is not 87mm it is 58mm. You can use the step-down rings and give it a chance. It is always best not to use a ring if possible. You can get some of the lens appear around the edges of your images. Have fun at camp!

Hard Drive Camcorder?

So I need a pretty nice video camera (preferably shoulder mount, but ok if not) to shoot some video at the office. We want to spend around $ 1,500 used is ok. For the recording capabilities video camera we would like it to record on a hard drive and a tape. Any reccomendations?

Thomas's neither a HDD camcorder or tape. you will not have duel HDD and Mini-DV. I assume you are talking about mini-dv (small band) you can get good quality mini dv video cameras around this price and quality are better than HDD camcorders. We are in compressed video, but just a small video is compressed better video will look like. all HDD, media card using high video compression to the volume of video on a relatively small drive. mini dv still using compressed video, but not so much in relation to the others. 10 Min's of video is about 2gb. but the quality is as good as you will get from the camera. its simple to get video on your computer with HDD cameras, but unless Using an advanced computer, you will not be able to edit video. Mini-dv you do not need a high end computer. the down side to mini-dv is the time it takes To download the video to the computer, its done in real time 10 Min's of video takes 10 min's. but by the time you've messed about trying to convert video from your HDD camera its actually faster. go and see what cameras you like there are a number on your budget, get the feel for them. No Talking!

It may seem that the "goes without saying" but ... not talk, laugh or gasp while recording, unless you consciously are commenting on the scene. mouth is two inches from the microphone. Anything you say can and will be used against you. Once you've learned to limit your enthusiasm enough to shoot in silence, you can begin to train yourself to hear sounds underway around you. It's not just enthusiasm, which can draw attention to the camera operator - shuddering sigh of boredom can bring the viewer's attention to a halt especially if it is accompanied by an unexpected camera movement that feels like a huge wave just rolled under the boat.

Hearing your surroundings

If there is a large air conditioner and you have control over it, turn it off. If there is a highway traffic outside the room where you shoot, get a "cutaway" shot by highway, through a window. (A "Cutaway" is a shot of an item that may or may not be a part of the scene, but contains information helpful to the audience). When the audience knows why the sound is there, they will find it less disturbing.

Example:

You can shoot an outdoor wedding and crows suddenly start to make a ruckus. Get a shot of the crows, you will be less inclined to spend hours unsuccessfully trying to remove the screaming of the crows from the "soundtrack" (soundtrack that comes with the video) when you begin editing the ceremony.

Microphones

The "microphone" these instruments can transform sound waves into electrical current, which is built into consumer camcorders are very good for general health. They are very reliable. If you got good picture, you get sound. But they are very limited when it comes to interviews, acting scenes, and important conversation.

How can I return my electrical goods?

Okay, so I bought a Samsung MiniDV VP-D381 http://www.samsung.com/au/consumer/camera-camcorder/digital-camcorder/archive/VP-D381I/XSA/index.idx?pagetype=prd_detail video camera a while back from Argos, a local distributor in England back in May. However, the band room failed. The door opens and the camera tells me that it is pushing the band. But problem is that the tape compartment does not pop out so I can not load and unload tapes into it. It has failed completely - not sit fixed - since there is no rushing from the room. However, here is the Catch 22 - I think I have lost the receipt for the video camera, which I do not seem to find it. It is still under the one year warranty period, but the only proof of purchase is the product catalog number, which I used to purchase the item. All accessories have been found and stashed in the box. Anyone have any suggestions on what I can do about it?

Hi I have just sent some old tapes I recorded at 97 on my Sony camcorder UK. I now lives in the U.S. and no longer have the camcorder. If I buy a Samsung SLC810 Hi8 camcorder, which says it played in PAL or NTSC multi-system - I will be able to play these tapes is really important to me? I do not want to send the tape anywhere to be converted incase they lose or damage them. If anyone knows another camera or another option so let me know. Samsung sales brochure states it can play in PAL for people on vacation in Europe. My understanding is that an NTSC camera Recording in a different format and can not read the PAL format to play it again, although motif searching?

Hi, I'm looking to invest in a higher grade consumer camcorder (shoulder mount) and I found a shop in my area that offers two cameras for around the same price. The JVC GY-HD200U and 250U are shoulder-style camcorder, which resemble large professional broadcast cameras, only a bit smaller, making them the perfect solution to record Electronic News Gathering (ENG) and reality shows and looks like you're on a massive budget!

I first used the JVC GY-HD200U when working on a reality show in 2008, and I was amazed when I saw the footage on my HDTV, the picture was flawless with rich colors and a very good depth of field for a HDV camcorder. Because the camcorder is so long with most of the weight in front and back, which is spread over it gives a very pleasant shooting experience, so it's a very well thought out design.

The JVC HD200U/250U builds on the success of the previous JVC GY-HD110U, and adds a super-encoder capable of 1080i 60P output. Both cameras record HDV at 1280 x 720 (720p) and comes with a great 16x Fujinon lens, and a high-res 16:9 LCD viewfinder. The 1/3-inch bayonet makes this camcorder able to add other third party lenses from Fujinon, Canon, etc.

The JVC GY-HD200U is virtually the same video camera which JVC GY-HD250U, but the latter can be transformed into a studio camera when you add a KA-HD250 Studio Kit. The 250U also adds Genlock capabilities, time code sync and HD-SDI outputs. Both camcorders can record in both NTSC and PAL formats on various interlaced and progressive frame rates, which makes this camera very compatible with all types of productions, and also for travel.

The JVC GY-HD250U and 200U records high-definition video on a regular MiniDV cassettes, but with the optional DR-HD100U Direct-to-Edit recorder, a hard disk workflow can be achieved while creating back-up material on digital tape.

What is the best high definition camcorder, you can buy? For under $ 1100?

I wish to Hawaii / Oahu in a month and want to remember forever. I have a high definition television at home. I will be hiking, biking, doing everything I possibly can during this time. I had thought of buy a HD camcorder to use with my high definition television. Is it worth the cost over a standard camera? Why is the difference so great? Also if anyone has one that shows excellent quality, you must say which one it is and how much. I can spend around $ 1100 on a camcorder. If there is a much cheaper, therefore it is good too! Panasonic Camcorders 60gb

I purchased the Sony DCR Sr37 camcorder. It has not NightShot. Can I do anything to film in night vision?

The quality is very good and I am impressed the 60 x optical zoom. But I have to shoot in night vision ... I've seen it can detect Infrared (tested with my remote control). If I use an external infrared flashlight I will be able to film in night vision. Or is there anything else I can do? Should I return it?

I specialize in IR technology since 2006. DCR Sr37 is a Sony HDD camcorders. DCR Sr37 has not NightShot reason to have night shot, Sony would have to make room on the front of the camcorder to an infrared LED. Although it ought to (but not) night shot, it can not see infrared light, as a second Sony camcorder would. This means in complete darkness, you would not be able to see infrared light, although you had an IR flashlight. The camera can still see the IR LED on a remote, but it has not the strength to see as much IR light in Pitch Black. If you plan to use infrared technology, I will return to the camcorder. If you need the video camera just to film, so keep it.

Sony CCD-TRV66 Repair?

The head on my trv66 CCD video camera is worn. I need to replace it. But apparently there are no shops here in London, selling spare parts, and a lady I spoke to did not even know what a head was! There was a product called camcroder Sensor / Stand ..... is there any chance that this can be a head? Unfortunately, there were not any pictures available. Thank you.

You probably have to send it in to Sony to get it repaired. Check Sony support site for your camera model for further instructions. You may find that buying a new camera will be viable option compared to the cost of repair. Good luck!

I'm trying to film a project and my MiniDV camera is not showing a picture.?

It is a Samsung MiniDV camcorder and am trying to film a video with a friend. The camera is turned on fine, everything works fine, but when I try to film it looks as though the lens cap is still on. It is black. The display shows (in menu), just not in the picture. It is not work in a state, except when I'm an old tape. What can be wrong and how can I fix it?
