I got this new DXG 506v camcorder and it says you can use it as a web cam, but idk how ... Does anyone no how please help ?????

Hey I'm a fourteen year old girl who took 75 pictures (JPG files) and videos (AVI) on my camcorder. But... I was stupid enough to somehow corrupt the disk and lose some of the precious memories I took. Hello. Also I am glad to have a camcorder, and has done a lot of research lately. Panasonic comes out with a really good 3CCD cam DVD next month (VDR-D310) which records to dual layer discs. This means you can put 30 or so minutes of the best quality video on a dual layer mini DVD. If you purchased a standard DVD camcorder that records in the usual mini-DVD's, you will only get around 18 minute high quality video. It did not quite double, but 30-35 minutes is better than 18! I shoule mention, however, that mini-DVD's are more expensive than the mini DV tape. There is also a hard drive cams which can accommodate around 7 hours of best quality video, depending on the size of your hard disk. Some say that the quality is not as good as mini DV, but others say that regular people like you and me, we will not notice the difference. You can record your footage right to a DVD when it is connected to a DVD burner. But if you plan to do something about editing of your video due to compression of going back and forth from camera to computer to DVD, you will lose some quality in the video, so it is best you go with a Mini DR. They also can record right to a DVD burner. As far as cost, there are so many different Web stores out there that is not including eBay, just so I would just search around. But the quality looks pretty good. It has a 25x optical zoom which is great also. The built-in 40GB HDD will be safe enough. I heard that the auto exposure is not functioning well. I do not know if you can set it manually, but it would be very helpful if it is possible to set the exposure manually. The camcorder is not in HD, if you want to watch videos in high resolution and future projects, you should consider buying him a video camera. Does Verizon have rollover minutes?

The droid hands down it is brand new. It is the world thinniest touch screen sliding QWERTY keyboard phone. Most phones only give you an abbreviated version of a second site, but the droid gives you the full version. The droid also has a system when the battery dies, you can take out the old and put in a new or just recharge it. Video recording is the same as the video camera it was advertised as a video on my curve. The 5MP camera size should b good. So far I have something I think Verizon does not have rollover I think it is only and t. But that will be made up with their version of my circuit. I have alltel and I want to switch to Verizon and get droid Rite Now I curve.

I have a Dell 1420 laptop with built-in IEEE 1394 and I bought a cable to connect a DV to DV from JVC 270 for laptop, but it is not detected in Windows XP, however, the IEEE is shown in Device Manager, and installed perfectly

You need to use a form of video editing software to view and / or capture footage to your laptop via DV / FireWire connection. Handycam will not work with Mac?

Ok, here's the deal. I have a MacBook (which is less than a year old) and a Sony Digital 8 Handycam (the is at least 5 years old and still uses a tape for storage, but it has USB streaming). iMovie will not capture the video. My computer will not even recognize the camera as a external device when I plug it into the USB port. Is there anything I can do or is my camcorder to date?

It may require FIREWIRE like Mini DV to be recognized.

A good digital HD camcorder to go to Europe?

I want: something $ 200 or below, but I might consider $ 250 if it was extraordinarily HD because Im taking it to Europe and I want excellent quality, or at least better than a DVD recorder, which I already have. Internal memory is fine, but it is to have a memory card slot. SD would be ideal, but I think I could work with something else. Ive as small as the shirt (dont like it) but something similar, it is a sony.
