JVC Everio GZ-MG255 compatability in the UK if purchased from US?
I am thinking of buying a camcorder from the US for use in the UK. I am aware of the PAL / NTSC issues however the seller on ebay states that the camcorder JVC Everio GZ-MG255 is world wide compatable. Is this the case as this seller has quite a few negative feebacks form UK customers saying its not compatable. Also there is another ebay seller with decent feeback and I have contacted him regarding this and he says he has sold may camcorders to the uk and no problems have been highlighted. Can anyone help. Thanks
If you buy a NTSC camera, you cannot use the RF output to connect to a PAL TV. However the Digital AV output of the NTSC camera (if it has one) can be fed to a PAL TV and it works just fine.
I have a sony trv22 NTSC camrea which I bought in the US. I am using it in India on a PAL TV.
