Sony DV camcorder Video editing AVI or MPEG-2?
What should I choose? AVI or MPEG-2 Once edited, transferred to 4.7 GB or Dual Layer using Cyberlink PowerDVD Suite or similar I am using DV (AVI) is the best quality for transfer to PC via FireWire, I am aware it will take some (I think), 25 GB for 60 min DV footage after the video edditing prob be less than 40 minutes. or using the MPEG-2, only a few hundred megabytes (and problems easier to edit) but the main question is when everything is done and burned to a DVD, what quality will I get? and there will be no point in me using DV (avi quality) I has 300 GB of space and two GB of RAM using Vista (so I know it is adequte) I wanto keep as much of the original quality as possible
